Tabletop Board Games on Android See Varied Performance in France Q2 2021

In the second quarter of 2021, the Android platform saw a diverse range of performances among the top tabletop board game applications in France. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.

Chess - Play and Learn by Chess.com showed fluctuating revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately $11K in late April and dipping to around $7K by the end of June. Downloads followed a downward trend, starting at over 10K and dropping to just above 5K. Weekly active users decreased from 131K to 105K over the same period.

Scopely's YAHTZEE With Buddies Dice Game experienced an overall decline in revenue from nearly $5K to about $4.7K. The game's downloads saw a significant drop from 4.5K to under 3K, while active users had a slight increase from 36.7K to 37.6K by the end of the quarter.

Yalla Ludo - Ludo&Domino from Aviva Sun saw revenue fluctuate, with a notable peak of nearly $5K in early June before falling back to around $2.4K. The game's downloads began at over 3K and saw a decrease to approximately 1.5K. Active users started at 6.7K and showed a slight increase to 5.5K by the quarter's end.

Beach Bum Ltd.'s Backgammon - Lord of the Board showed varying revenue, peaking at around $2.5K twice in the quarter but ending with $2K. Downloads for the game were low, beginning at 1K and ending at just over 200. Active users exhibited a slight decline from 9.9K to 7.6K.

Lastly, MONOPOLY by Marmalade Game Studio saw its revenue rise from $1.7K to $1.3K over the quarter. Downloads started at 600 and ended at 356, while active users decreased from 3.8K to just under 2.9K.
